Warranty Term

Optcore makes every effort to ensure that its products meet high quality and durability standards, and warrants to the original customer or purchaser that each of its fiber optic products, and all components thereof, will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period as the table below from the shipment date.
 
Any warranty hereunder is extended to the original consumer or purchaser and is not assignable. Optcore makes no express or implied warranties, including, but not limited to, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, except as expressly outlined in this warranty.
 
In no event shall Optcore be liable for incidental or consequential damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or in connection with the performance of the product delivered hereunder. Optcore will not cover damages arising from the product being used in a negligent fashion or manner.

Warranty Limitations

  • This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from Optcore’s official website or stores like Amazon and eBay. For products purchased from distributors or resellers, please contact them for a detailed warranty policy.
  • Unauthorized disassembly, repair, modification, or any other damage caused by human factors.
  • Damage caused by impact, fire, lightning, flood, or other natural disasters or human negligence.
  • Damage caused by improper installation, abuse, misuse, harsh/unfavorable environment.

Returns & Refunds Policy

We want all our customers to be happy with their purchase. If you received a product that didn’t meet your expectations or was faulty, don’t worry. We have policies to help you get a refund, exchange, or repair, depending on your situation. Just reach out to us, and we’ll take care of it.

Returns Requirements

A. For online order

Start the request by filling out the warranty form with all the necessary details.

B. For offline order

the customer or buyer must obtain a valid Return Material Authorization (RMA) number from Optcore for all product returns. RMAs will be issued by the following terms and conditions:

  • The customer must provide all information, i.e., the location, the reason, and the order number.
  • RMA# is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issuance.
  • Purchaser must allow in-transit time for products to be returned to the Optcore, as the Optcore must physically receive the products within 30 calendar days.
  • RMAs will be issued for authorized returns under one of the following categories: (i) defective products, (ii) shipping discrepancies, (iii) mis-shipment, or (iii) damaged products.
  • The customer or buyer is responsible for ensuring that the RMA number is visible on the address label of the product packaging when it is returned. Optcore will refuse delivery of any boxes without a valid, clearly visible RMA number, as noted above.

Defective Product Returns

Defective returns are only for products purchased from Optcore that are inoperable or do not function per the specifications and are covered under warranty.

All defective returns may be subject to more restrictive policies. The customer or buyer may request an RMA to return defective products within 30 calendar days of the invoice date, excluding special order products. Upon receipt of the defective product for which the RMA was issued, Optcore may test the products and return to the customer or buyer any products found not to be defective at the customer’s expense. Upon verification that the returned product is defective, Optcore may will either:

  1. Repair the defective product.
  2. Ship the customer/buyer a replacement product.
  3. Provide the customer/buyer a credit.

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us unless we deliver the item to you in error or if the item is damaged or defective.

We will only pay for the shipping fee and possible duties in Chinese customs for defective product returns. Any additional charges not limited to expenses such as the import licenses, duties, tariffs, and taxes are borne by the buyer.

30-day Money-back Guarantee

We are committed to providing good quality fiber optic products to our customers and want your absolute satisfaction as an Optcore customer. If you are unsatisfied with a product or the service, you have a full 30 days from the date of receiving the product, prompt refund as follows.

  • If the products are inoperable or do not function following the specifications on our website, you can get a full refund on your purchase.
  • If the products don’t meet your needs or you purchase the wrong product, you can get a refund (excluding shipping charges).
  • The guarantee applies to Optical Transceivers, DAC Cable, AOC Cable, and Media Converters.
  • Please note the guarantee does not apply to the below products: fiber patch cables, pigtails, MTP/MPO, attenuator, MUX&DEMUX; Video SFP, SFF, 1×9 transceivers.
  • Please note the guarantee does not apply to any custom products and promotional products.
  • Please note the guarantee only applies to all the purchases from Optcore directly; if you have purchased an Optcore product from a distributor or reseller, please get in touch with them to issue a refund to you.
